We are going to be signed back to our dog’s GP Vet; what does this mean for the future?
Once your pet has been signed back to your GP, they will no longer be under our care and will be under the sole care of your GP. This means that we will no longer be able to prescribe/advise on medication for your pet or offer veterinary advice.
You can still have rehabilitation appointments once your pet has been signed back to your GP vet. If at a later date you would like veterinary advice from one of our vets, we do not require a new referral to be submitted if it has been less than 12 months. We will require an up-to-date medical history from your GP vets, and we will schedule a veterinary consultation to restart your programme.
